Sacramento has been the home of many television personalities who went beyond local fame. Some of the most memorable names include Tom Hanks, who attended Sac State, Molly Ringwald, who became part of Hollywood's "brat pack" in the 80s and Jane Sibbett, who played on the #1 TV series Friends. Local news personalities who have worked nationally include Christine Craft, Mark S Allen hosted an MTV show called Scratch, Cary "Captain Carrot" Nosler on the CBS show PM Magazine and Dave and Lois Hart, who anchored a news program on CNN. Most recently, Lester Holt has become an anchor at NBC News. Radio personalities who later appeared on national TV shows include Gary Owens, Don Imus, Morton Downey Jr, Rush Limbaugh.
