Here's a video presentation by a music research team who wrote a book called "Where Have All the Pop
Stars Gone?" It was written by publishers of a Davis firm called Editpros.com, Marti
Smiley Childs and Jeff March. Most of the presentation is hosted by Jeff March, who worked in production
at KROY in the 1970s and then became a writer for Sacramento Magazine then ultimately moved on to publishing.
He talks about the artists they've interviewed and what they are doing in the present. Jeff explains the differences
between pop music of the 60s/70s and 21st century pop, how top 40 radio has shifted from a lot of variety to more
