Oleander

Official website: Oleander.net

Originally called Jack in the early nineties, Oleander became a local and national rock force by the end of the decade. Signed to Republic Records, they enjoyed national hits on the alternative and rock charts, such as "Why I'm Here" and "Down When I'm Loaded." The band is led by Thomas Flowers. Other members have included Doug Eldridge, Rick Ivanisevich, Fred Nelson Jr., Rich Mouser, Chuck Combs, Jonathan Nover and Scott Devours.

The band's first major label release was February Son in 1999. It was simply a repacking of the band's indie release of Shrinking the Blob in 1997 with the same tracklist.
