Game Theory

Official website: Loudfamily.com

Game Theory originated from Davis, led by creative songwriter/producer Scott Miller, who had produced Thin White Rope in the eighties. Other early members included Gil Ray on drums, Donnette Thayer, Shelley LaFreniere and Guillaume Gassuan. Several other Sacramento-area musicians have played in the band.

Their final complete studio album in 1988 was Two Steps From The Middle Ages. Albums released after that were compilations of the band's issued and never before issued works, although some new recordings were made in 2017 to finish the album Miller began working prior to his death in 2013 at age 53. Miller was also a member of Loud Family. Both Game Theory and Loud Family gained positive critical acclaim from music industry critics.
