Dutch Falconi Orchestra

Official website: Dutchfalconi.com

Dutch Falconi is a jazz musician who helped revive "west coast swing music" in the 1990s with his 27-piece touring orchestra. It eventually grew to 32 members. Dutch stood out from jazz orchestras of the past by mixing big band sounds with punk, swing and humor. At the time the band broke up in 2000 after an eleven-year run, it had crafted over a hundred songs. Dutch has continued to record following the disbanding of his orchestra. Other vocalists beyond Dutch have included Kitten Fontina, Laynie Xavier, Jonny Splendor, Nathan Jones, Ruby Stardust and Pepper LaRue.
