Doug Cash Live at Vintner's Cellar "Video of the Day" review by Alex Cosper on April 21, 2013

Doug Cash is a singer-songwriter who follows in the footsteps of artists who crafted positive messages in their lyrics. In this SacTV video he performs two of his original songs, "Beyond" and "Emotional Treason," which are songs that point toward positive solutions to social challenges. "Emotional Treason" is about believing in self-esteem, which Doug talks about in this interview. He made a guest appearance at Ken Koenig's show on Saturday, April 20. Ken played electric guitar while Doug played his electric guitar and sang. Most of Doug's set consisted of cover songs from the 50s and 60s such as "That'll Be the Day" and "Ballad of John & Yoko." Following his two originals in this video, SacTV interviews Doug about his musical background. His original music is available on iTunes and CDBaby. Ken Koenig frequently does solo performances at Vintner's Cellar, mixing cover songs and originals. This time he brought his band for the first half of the show.
