Photography of Jason Branz
SacTV.com "Video of the Day" review by
Alex Cosper on March 19, 2013
Jason Branz is a Sacramento photographer who showcases his work at the
Sacramento Art Complex at 21st and K Street. His weather and landscape photography is so stunning it looks like paintings. He enjoys
going to Yosemite National Park once a month or more throughout the year to capture artistic shots of every season. As he explains
in this SacTV video interview, in the winter he takes shots of snow covered mountains. In the spring he photographs wildflowers and
roaring waterfalls. Summer provides a wide array of beautiful shots due to the blue skies and meadows while fall offers different
colors in the Sierra Nevadas and reflections in the river. He prints big photos on canvas and smaller pictures are on photo paper.
Jason also displays his photography at the Artist's Collaborative Gallery in Old Sacramento.
