Sammy Hagar's Rockin' Engineer Eric Child

Eric Child is a systems engineer who runs his own sound company, works for Skip's Music and is the
sound engineer at Sammy Hagar's new restaurant and live venue in Roseville called
Sammy's Rockin' Island Bar & Grill. The venue just opened in September 2012 and this
video interview was conducted a month later, on October 19. Eric explains how he was
selected to handle sound and lighting for the new club. He is the co-owner of an independent company
called Full Spectrum Audio & Lighting (FSA) and also helps
long time successful local
music and pro audio gear store, Skip's Music, which is a top musical instrument retail store not just
locally, but nationally as well. Child went to college in Iowa and Nevada and came to California
about five years ago. His expertise in live sound has put him and his partner in several big show
